Sri Lankan Aid is neutral in regards to ethnicity, political affiliation and religion. The organization is only concerned with the carrying out of its purposes as defined below:

To foster development and peace in Sri Lankan communities adversely affected by both natural disaster and civil conflict

To promote the education of others on these crises facing Sri Lankan communities

To provide and encourage responsible, calculated, sustainable assistance to these communities
